Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar and Tum Mere Ho hit the cinemas this weekend. Though both films took a low start at the box office, the former gained relatively better traction on the opening day. As per estimates, Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar minted around Rs. 50 lakh nett on its debut day.
Considering a debutante star cast of fresh faces, it’s a reasonable opening. However, it needs to show good growth over the weekend in order to have a chance at the box office. It is in the same genre as Luv Ranjan’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama, which opened around Rs 94 lakh nett on its opening day in 2011.
