Salman Khan Gets Candid About Possibility Of His Biopic: Bahut Saare Log Doob Jayenge

Salman Khan has once again turned a casual media question into a headline-grabbing moment. At the Mumbai trailer launch of his upcoming film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, the actor was asked whether his life could ever become the subject of a biopic. His answer was brief, playful and loaded enough to set fans talking.

Salman Khan Gets Candid About Possibility Of His Biopic

Salman said there was “nothing” in his life that could make such a film work, before adding with a laugh that a completely truthful version may create trouble for many people. “Aisa bahut kuch hai ki bahut saare log doob jayenge,” he said, suggesting that several reputations could be affected if his real story were ever told on screen.

Salman Khan on why his biopic may never happen

The comment quickly drew attention because Salman remains one of Hindi cinema’s most discussed public figures. Across more than three decades in the film industry, his career has included blockbuster films, intense fan loyalty, professional reinventions and frequent public scrutiny. A biopic on such a figure would naturally invite curiosity, but Salman appeared to dismiss the idea with humour rather than seriousness.

This is not the first time the actor has been asked about a possible film on his life. During a recent appearance on Koffee With Karan season 9, host Karan Johar also raised the subject. Salman had then indicated that a biopic on him was unlikely, keeping the tone light but firm.

Maatrubhumi gets a new release date

Salman is currently promoting Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is based around the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. At the trailer launch, Salman confirmed that the film will release in theatres on December 4.

The film had earlier been expected to arrive in April, but its release was pushed. There was also speculation about a possible Independence Day weekend release, though that did not happen. In July, Salman Khan Films denied reports that certification issues with the CBFC had caused the delay. The banner clarified then that the film had not been submitted to the board at that stage.

Apart from his film commitments, Salman is also hosting Bigg Boss 20. The reality show has reportedly crossed 100 crore watch hours, a milestone for the franchise. Salman marked the achievement on set with a cake-cutting celebration and thanked viewers for supporting the season.

For now, Salman’s biopic remains more of a running joke than a real project. But his latest remark has ensured that the idea will continue to interest fans, especially those curious about the untold stories behind one of Bollywood’s longest and most closely watched careers.
