Campus Drivers (2026) On Prime Video: BookTok lovers have found their latest obsession in Campus Drivers! Based on C.S. Quill’s bestselling new-adult romance novel series of the same name, the six-episode show has quickly caught viewers’ attention. Premiering yesterday, Campus Drivers has already climbed to No. 8 on Prime Video’s Top 10 list in India (as of today). The series is also generating plenty of online chatter, particularly over its much-talked-about ‘couch’ scene.
Will There Be Campus Drivers Season 2?
Starring Baptiste Masseline and Carmen Kassovitz in the lead, Campus Drivers has viewers hooked with its mix of romance, drama, unexpected twists, and of course, the viral couch scene.
A nerd-and-playboy romance with a roommate-to-lovers angle, the French series follows Lois, a student at the prestigious Belrose University, who initially arrives there with her long-time boyfriend, Max. However, her world turns upside down when Max suddenly breaks up with her, leaving her with nowhere to go. She eventually finds herself crashing at Lane’s (Baptiste Masseline) apartment.
Lane is one of the most popular faces on campus, known for his good looks, charisma and commitment-phobic nature. He is also the creator of Campus Drivers, the university’s hit student-run ride-sharing app. Although Lois and Lane’s unexpected living arrangement brings them closer, their relationship takes several turns, eventually driving them apart.
Season 1 ends on a heartbreaking note, with Lois returning to Lane’s apartment only to find his belongings being moved out. This leaves her wondering whether Lane wants nothing more to do with her, setting the stage for an emotional separation.
However, fans of C.S. Quill’s novel series know that Lois and Lane’s story is far from over. With plenty more twists and turns left to explore, viewers are hopeful that Campus Drivers will return for a second season. However, Prime Video is yet to officially renew the French romantic drama for Season 2.
