Ranbir Kapoor’s latest, Ramayana, has finally hit big screens on a global scale, with the film receiving love from across. The epic surrounds the story of Ravana, who kidnaps Lord Rama’s wife Sita. In a tale of retaliation, Lord Rama builds an army of loyal supporters and infiltrates Ravan’s kingdom of Lanka to rescue his wife.
A lot of the reviews laid emphasis on the outstanding VFX as well as the grand world-building. But most of all, high praise was placed on the acting performances by the lead cast, including Yash, who played Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Laxman, and finally, Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama.
Alia Bhatt never shies away from showing just how much she cares about her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, being her number one fan. This was also seen recently in some pictures circulating around showing her attentively watching Ramayana at a screening.
Alia Bhatt now took to her socials to shower some love on all his hard work with a beautiful message. The photos showed Ranbir in the avatar of Lord Rama spending some quality time with their daughter.
She captioned this post, saying, “You poured everything into this one and somehow still had all of it left for her (heart emoji icon). So proud of you, Ranbir and of every single person who brought their heart and soul to this incredible experience at the movies (star icon). Some stories are bigger than all of us & Ramayana is one of them.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are slated to star in their upcoming movie, Love & War, scheduled for release on January 21, 2027. The movie will also star Vicky Kaushal, who will be seen for the first time on the big screen after his 2025 release, Chhaava.
