Will Ramayana Recreate KGF 2, Pushpa 2 Magic? Trade Experts Decode
Talking about the market, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal exclusively told Filmibeat’s group, “No, because Ramayana’s subject is known to all. Baahubali ka ek craze isliye zyada tha ki second part me kya hota hai kisi ko pta nahi hai and same goes for KGF. Isme pta hai ki last me Ravana marega. To wo magic recreate nhi ho sakta. There might be a possibility that numbers can go much more than Baahubali, but there won’t be that level ka craze. However you might see bigger business than Baahubali because things changed, screens have increased and the ticket price is absolutely very high”.
On the other hand, sharing his view point on the matter, film business expert told us as, “As far as Pushpa 2, RRR and Baahubali 2 records are concerned, if Ramayana film is liked by the audience, it will do over Rs 2000cr at the worldwide box office. It will need very good word of mouth from the audience to achieve that”
For the uninitiated, Pushpa 1 had minted Rs 164.25cr while the number was Rs 133 for RRR and Rs 116cr for KGF 2 on their respective opening day and Rs 1742.1cr for Pushpa 2, Rs 1230cr for RRR and Rs 1215cr for KGF 2 as their respective worldwide collection. . Meanwhile, Ramayana has raked in Rs 49.58 Cr with the sale of 13.67 lakh tickets from advance booking collection for the opening day at the domestic box office..
