Dancing With The Stars Season 35 Week 8 Eviction: The ballroom turned into a magical Disney-inspired stage on Monday night (November 2), as Dancing With The Stars returned with a special episode featuring Broadway-themed performances. With only eight couples remaining, the contestants took on routines inspired by iconic Disney classics and popular musicals. From impressive performances and perfect scores to exciting team dances, the night had plenty of highlights.
However, the celebrations came to an end for one pair, as another couple was eliminated from the competition.
Dancing With The Stars 35 Week 8 (Ep 9): Who Got Eliminated On DWTS Disney Night?
Breaking away from its regular Tuesday broadcast schedule, Dancing With The Stars 2026 brought viewers a new episode on Monday night (November 2) this week. The scheduling change came ahead of ABC’s live coverage of the U.S. midterm elections on Tuesday (November 3, 2026).
The special Disney Night episode featured a Broadway-inspired theme, with celebrity contestants and their professional partners taking on performances set to popular numbers from Disney favourites such as Peter Pan, Tangled and Beauty and the Beast. The couples also brought Broadway productions, including Aida and Hamilton, to the ballroom.

However, the magical evening ended on a disappointing note for fan-favourite Julia Stiles and her dance partner Ezra Sosa, who were eliminated from the competition. The pair received the lowest combined result based on judges’ scores and audience votes, bringing their DWTS journey to an end.
Their exit was particularly unexpected after they showed signs of improvement following last week’s disappointing scores, especially the criticism they received from guest judge Shirley Ballas. Stiles and Sosa scored 33 out of 40 for their individual routine and earned an additional 36 points during the team dance. Despite finishing tied for sixth on the leaderboard, their combined scores and viewer support were not enough to save them from elimination.
Dancing With The Stars Disney Night Leaderboard: Who Scored The Highest?
Harry Shum Jr. and his professional dance partner, Jenna Johnson, continue to dominate the ballroom. After securing a perfect 40/40 during last week’s Halloween-themed special, the duo once again impressed the judges on Disney Night, earning another flawless score of 40/40 for their performance.
We have to give Harry his flowers! He’s truly one of the greatest dancers this show has ever seen… and THE CHOREOGRAPHY?! 🤯⭐️#DancingWithTheStars #DWTS #DWTS35 https://t.co/SAgjxsoVaq
