Obsession has officially taken over India! The uncut original version of Obsession has released on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar in English and Hindi. The film has everyone in India talking, with many dissecting the film and praising Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, who have voiced Bear and Nikki in the Hindi version of the film. While audiences are devouring this Halloween treat, Curry Barker opened up about one of the scariest scenes in the film.
In a recent interview, Curry opened up about the scene featuring Inde Navarrette. Those who have watched the film would recall the scene in which Inde’s Nikki stood in the corner of the room and had a breakdown in the middle of the night. Speaking about the haunting scene, Curry revealed that Inde did the scene in one shot.
“I remember when she’s in the corner in the bedroom and she’s going, I don’t like my dreams and all that stuff, I talked to her a lot about what that was. She went in and I was like, ‘Okay, so we’re gonna…’ She’s like, ‘Don’t say a word. Just let me do it.’ And I was like, ‘okay,’ because I think she had already heard my spiel over and over again. And I think she just didn’t want to hear it again when she was in the corner about to do it,” Curry recalled.
“She literally did it in one take, which is the case for a lot of her stuff in this movie. But she did this like creepy, weird, whiny, she knew what I wanted by then that this was actually reshoots. This was almost seven months later. And so she had done the whole-she’d shot the whole movie by now. And so she came in, she did the whiny thing. And I was like, okay, cut. And she went back to her green room because I was like, Oh, we don’t need to do it again,” he shared.
