Ranbir Kapoor vs Yash Box Office Battle – Trade Expert Opinion

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat’s Ranpreet, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal decoded this much talked about box office battle between Ranbir and Yash and stated, “Yash is having an upper hand because Ranbir doesn’t have a hold in the southern market. However, Yash has a hold a good hold in North India along with Southern market. Also, Yash will obviously bring the bigger box office advantage because he will bring good business from South for Ramayana. On the other hand, while Ramayana itself is a big subject in the north, people kind of have a fascination for villains. Every boy has a dream of living a life of a villain bas wo marna nahi chahta and harna nahi chahta”.

Meanwhile, Ramayana has received an impressive response at the box office in terms of advance booking in India and across the world. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial has earned Rs 19.19cr from advance booking for the first day of release with the sale of 3.91 lakh tickets.
