HERE’S WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT MARVEL’S VISIONQUEST: PLOT, CAST AND MORE
Paul Bettany is back as Vision in Marvel’s VisionQuest, which follows the character as he tries to figure out his identity and make sense of his past. After being brought back online, Vision begins searching for answers by interacting with different artificial intelligence programmes linked to his system.
His search brings him face-to-face with J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H., as well as Ultron, the powerful AI that once became a threat to the Avengers. Ultron’s return adds another layer of danger to Vision’s journey.
The trouble does not end there. Vision soon finds himself being hunted, with a bounty placed on him. While trying to escape, he crosses paths with Thomas Shepherd, a young man whose identity could reveal important details about Vision’s past. Thomas’ possible connection to Vision and his family adds another mystery to the story.
Bettany reprises his role as Vision, continuing the character’s story after WandaVision. James Spader also returns as the voice of Ultron, having previously played the villain in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The supporting cast includes Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd, along with Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Emily Hampshire and James D’Arcy.
With Vision trying to understand who he is while facing Ultron and uncovering the truth about Thomas Shepherd, VisionQuest takes the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a new direction, combining artificial intelligence, mystery and the character’s unresolved past.
