Udta Teer Budget & Box Office Target Exclusive: Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan starrer Udta Teer has arrived in theatres, and all eyes are now on its box office performance. While the film has generated curiosity among moviegoers, its budget and box office target will play a key role in deciding its commercial fate.

In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat Assistant Editor Aakash Kumar, trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal opened up the budget and expected box office target of Udta Teer.
UDTA TEER OVERVIEW: BUDGET, PLOT & WHAT TO EXPECT
What happens when a Pakistani spy loses his memory in India and starts believing that he is an Indian counter-terrorism officer? This unusual situation drives the story of Udta Teer, written and directed by Aakash A. Kaushik. The film follows Bilal Ahmed, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, whose mission takes an unexpected turn after an accident leaves him with memory loss. His identity crisis sets the stage for a mix of espionage, national security and comedy.
Udta Teer marks Aakash A. Kaushik’s directorial debut and stars Sara Ali Khan alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The supporting cast includes Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Smita Tambe.
The film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain. It also brings Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment together for another collaboration, with an unusual premise that combines the worlds of spying and comedy.
Talking about the budget of Udta Teer, the trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal said, “The film’s budget is around Rs 50 crore.”
UDTA TEER BOX OFFICE TARGET UPDATE
Talking about the box-office target for the film, Rohit stated, “To earn a clean hit tag, Udta Teer needs to collect at least Rs 56 crore at the box office. Anything below Rs 40 crore would be considered a flop, while a collection of Rs 56 crore or more would make it a hit. If it crosses Rs 70 crore, it would be a super hit. The film is quite good, so I believe it should collect at least Rs 56 crore.”
