ALL ABOUT VISIONQUEST: FULL CAST, PLOT AND WHAT FANS CAN EXPECT
Marvel’s VisionQuest follows Vision as he tries to understand who he is after being rebooted. With his past behind him and several unanswered questions about his existence, he wants to find his own path while avoiding people who may want to use him as a weapon.
His search for answers leads him to the artificial intelligence systems created by Tony Stark. These include J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H. However, the presence of Ultron, the AI that once threatened the Avengers, could make things more complicated for Vision.
His attempt to stay away from danger takes a different turn when a bounty is placed on him. While trying to escape those hunting him, Vision crosses paths with Thomas Shepherd. The young man’s mysterious connection to Vision could reveal important details about his past and family.
With questions about his identity, dangerous pursuers and familiar AI systems entering the story, the series explores Vision’s struggle to understand himself and decide what comes next.
Thomas Shepherd could be more than just a stranger in Vision’s life, with the young man possibly being his son or having a deeper link to his consciousness. As their paths cross, Vision finds himself facing a dangerous situation while trying to understand Thomas’s identity and deal with Ultron’s lingering influence.
Paul Bettany returns as Vision, picking up the character’s story after WandaVision (2021). James Spader also reprises his role as Ultron, the powerful AI villain he voiced in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
The cast also includes Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd, along with Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Emily Hampshire and James D’Arcy.
