RJ Mitte Death Reason: In what came as one of the most shocking and heartbreaking news from Hollywood, Breaking Bad actor RJ Mitte is no more with us. The 34 year old actor who became a household name with his stint in Breaking Bad, passed away on October 12. According to a report published in Variety, he was found dead at his residence in Brownsville, Texas. Needless to say, RJ Mitte’s sudden demise has left his massive fan following in shock.

According to a report published in People, RJ Mitte’s spokesperson has confirmed that the Breaking Bad actor had died of suicide. “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte,” his representative had stated in an official statement. The media reports suggested that Brownsville Police Department had received a call at around 12:50pm local time and the cops had found the actor dead at his residence. The police is currently waiting for the autopsy report.
RJ Mitte’s Onscreen Dad Bryan Cranston Pens An Emotional Note
Soon, RJ Mitte’s Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston, who played the role of his father in the series penned an emotional note on social media. He shared a pic with the late actor and wrote, “I’m in deep despair as I write this tonight. RJ Mitte, my sweet son on Breaking Bad has died. I met him when he was only 14 years old when he was cast as Walter White Jr., a part he played with such joy and enthusiasm. That kid was pretty raw when we started shooting the pilot in February of 2007, but little by little we watched him grow into a really fine actor. All that promise and potential now is such a loss. It is especially devastating to hear that he took his own life. Why? We were texting each other just a few weeks ago – figuring out when we could meet for lunch. I don’t know if that lunch would have changed his future… But I do know that I loved him, and thoroughly enjoyed being with him throughout the years on the series, and after the spotlight on Breaking Bad dimmed… I’ll miss you, son”.
On the other hand, Dean Joseph Norris, who portrayed Hank Schrader in ‘Breaking Bad’, also mourned RJ Mitte’s demise, “Oh my God! Was working just found out about RJ. I am heartbroken. Though RJ didn’t play my TV son, I always looked out for him as a young kid on set. He was a sweetheart of a young man and will be greatly missed. This is so heartbreaking, I can’t believe it. Thinking of him and his family”.
