Falguni Pathak opened Navratri Utsav 2026 in Mumbai with a packed Garba night at the Jio World Convention Centre, giving the city’s festive calendar a high-energy start. The singer, long associated with Navratri celebrations, performed on the first night of the nine-day event, drawing families, regular Garba-goers and younger audiences to the indoor venue.

The event, produced and promoted by TribeVibe Entertainment and Alphonso Studios, is being held from October 11 to 19, 2026. Organisers have positioned it as a large-format festive experience, combining traditional Navratri rituals with concert-style production inside a fully air-conditioned space.

The evening began with a Maha Aarti before the dance performances took over. Pathak’s set included crowd favourites such as “Pari Hoon Main”, “Sannedo”, “Mor Bani” and “Pethalpur”, with many in the audience singing along through the night. The opening show leaned heavily on familiar Garba numbers, which remain central to her appeal across generations.
Speaking about the festival, Falguni Pathak said, “Navratri has always held a special place in my heart because of the love, divine energy and sense of togetherness that audiences bring to the celebrations every year. It is wonderful to see generations come together through Garba, keeping this beautiful tradition alive while creating new memories along the way.”
She added that Mumbai’s response makes every performance special, and said she was delighted to be part of the celebrations across the nine nights. For many fans, her annual Navratri appearances remain closely tied to the city’s festive identity.
Navratri Utsav 2026 will continue at the Jio World Convention Centre until October 19. With eight nights remaining after the opening show, the event is expected to keep drawing audiences looking for a traditional Garba atmosphere in a large indoor setting.
