WHAT TO EXPECT FROM VISIONQUEST SERIES? FULL CAST AND STORYLINE DEETS
Marvel’s VisionQuest explores what happens after Vision is rebooted and begins searching for answers about his identity. While trying to stay away from people who want to use him as a weapon, he turns to the artificial intelligence systems stored in his programming for guidance. These include J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H., all created by Tony Stark, as well as Ultron, the AI villain who once threatened the Avengers.
Vision’s attempt to stay hidden takes a dangerous turn when a bounty is placed on him. During his escape, he crosses paths with Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious young man who may have a deeper connection to Vision’s past and family. Thomas could be Vision’s son or have a link to his consciousness, leaving Vision with more questions to answer as he tries to uncover the truth.
Paul Bettany returns as Vision, continuing the character’s story after WandaVision (2021). James Spader also reprises his role as Ultron, having voiced the character in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
The cast also includes Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd, alongside Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Emily Hampshire and James D’Arcy. With Vision’s search for identity, Ultron’s influence and Thomas Shepherd’s mysterious connection at the centre of the story, the series explores another chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
