VISIONQUEST OVERVIEW: PLOT, CAST & WHAT TO EXPECT
After being rebooted, Vision finds himself trying to make sense of his existence while staying away from those who want to turn him into a weapon. With his past behind him and an uncertain future ahead, he begins searching for answers about his identity and what he should do next.
Vision looks for guidance within his own programming, where several artificial intelligence systems created by Tony Stark remain stored. These include J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H., along with Ultron, the dangerous AI that once became a major threat to the Avengers.
However, Vision’s attempt to stay out of trouble takes a turn when a bounty is placed on him. As he tries to escape his pursuers, he meets Thomas Shepherd, a young man whose mysterious connection to Vision could hold important clues about his past and family.
Thomas may be Vision’s son or have a deeper connection to his consciousness. As the two find themselves caught in a dangerous situation, Vision must uncover the truth about the young man while dealing with Ultron’s lingering influence.
Paul Bettany returns as Vision, continuing the character’s story following the events of WandaVision (2021). James Spader also reprises his role as Ultron, the AI villain he voiced in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
The series also features Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd, alongside Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Emily Hampshire and James D’Arcy.
