Salman Khan is gearing up for the final leg of shooting for his upcoming action entertainer Monster. Helmed by Vamshi Paidipally, the pan-India film is reportedly entering one of its most demanding production schedules, with the actor preparing to shoot intense action sequences over 50 days.
According to reports, the makers have arranged a studio setup in Mira Road, Mumbai, where the upcoming schedule will primarily focus on close-range combat scenes. Rather than relying heavily on visual effects and stylised action, the team is reportedly looking to deliver a more realistic experience. The sequences will feature Salman engaging in physically demanding hand-to-hand fights with his opponents.

The film went on floors in Mumbai in April 2026 and has since been shot across several elaborate sets. In August, the team wrapped up an extensive six-week schedule in Goregaon, which included major action sequences, scenes involving large crowds and a specially constructed Afghan village set.
To prepare for the physically challenging scenes, a dedicated 10-day combat training session was also conducted in Mumbai in September. The training was reportedly designed to help execute the upcoming fight sequences with greater precision and authenticity.
Meanwhile, Salman is managing his television reality show commitments alongside the film’s demanding shooting schedule. Despite his packed calendar, the makers are reportedly aiming to complete principal photography by November 2026.

Once filming concludes, Monster is expected to move into post-production as the team works towards its planned theatrical release during Eid 2027.
The film features a star-studded cast, including Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Rahul Dev, Ronit Roy and Seema Biswas. Mounted as a pan-India entertainer, the action drama is currently slated for a theatrical release on Eid 2027.
