The issue has come into sharper focus in recent days following an AI-manipulated video involving Janhvi Kapoor. A digitally altered version of the Devara: Part 1 song Chuttamalle, featuring Kapoor alongside Jr NTR in the original, surfaced online with explicit imagery that was not part of the original video. Jr NTR condemned the video and said legal action would be taken, while actors including Chiranjeevi and Vijay Deverakonda also spoke out against the misuse of AI.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Yami Gautam will next be seen in Nayyi Navelli, directed by Balaji Mohan. The film, which also stars Adinath M. Kothare, Anurag Thakur, Sunita Rajwar and Mita Vasisth, is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16.
