Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar The Revenge is looking beyond box office records and film awards. The makers have launched a Grammy campaign for the film’s soundtrack, composed by Shashwat Sachdev, submitting it for consideration across nine categories at the 2027 Grammy Awards.

B62 Studios announced the campaign through a social media post, thanking listeners for the response to the music. The film, backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, has music produced by T-Series. Its soundtrack became one of the most discussed parts of the Ranveer Singh-led spy thriller, with several tracks finding strong traction among listeners in India and overseas.
Dhurandhar The Revenge Eyes Grammy Recognition
According to the campaign details shared by the makers, Shashwat Sachdev’s work has been submitted in the Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media category. This is among the key Grammy fields where film soundtracks are usually considered.
The campaign also places individual songs across different genres. Kanhaiyya has been submitted for Best Global Music Performance, while Aari Aari has been entered in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category. These submissions indicate that the team is positioning the album not only as a film soundtrack, but also as a cross-genre music project.
Several other songs have been submitted in mainstream Grammy categories. Phir Se is in contention for Best Song Written for Visual Media. Jaan Se Guzarte Hai has also been submitted for Best Global Music Performance. Jaiye Sajana is targeting Pop Duo/Group Performance, while Vaari Jaavan has been placed in Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
Why The Campaign Matters For Hindi Film Music
The soundtrack’s Grammy push is significant because Hindi film albums rarely mount campaigns across such a wide range of categories. Indian film music has often travelled globally through streaming, social media trends and diaspora audiences, but formal Grammy campaigns require strategic category placement and industry outreach.
Dhurandhar The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh, along with Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Danish Pandor. The film’s scale, action-driven tone and high-impact music helped the album stand out within mainstream Hindi cinema.
A Grammy submission does not guarantee a nomination. The entries will have to pass through the Recording Academy’s voting process before the final nominations are announced. For now, the campaign gives Dhurandhar The Revenge a wider international platform and places Shashwat Sachdev’s soundtrack in the global awards conversation.
