Accordingly, Prabhas will devote his principal energies to bringing Fauzi to completion, even as he continues to allocate time to Spirit. He wants to ensure that neither project loses momentum in the months to come.

Fauzi has got the scale
Fauzi’s theatrical release has been delayed for a reason. Recently, the makers described the film as a Baahubali-esque spectacle that will present Prabhas on an extraordinary scale. Extensive post-production work, large-scale shooting and the film’s ambitious visual requirements led to the postponement from December 3. A new release window in early 2027 is expected. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi explores an alternate version of Karna’s story, imagining him joining the Pandavas.

Spirit gathers pace as Mumbai schedule begins
Sandeep Reddy Vanga has completed nearly 40 per cent of Spirit’s shoot since filming began in November 2025. More recently, he noted that around 50 days of filming had been completed, with another 65 still pending. He aims to wrap the film within 115 to 120 shooting days.
The Mumbai schedule has now begun, taking the production into its next crucial phase. Since Prabhas has been occupied with Fauzi, he has not joined the schedule as of now. The team is currently filming scenes that do not involve him.
Fauzi marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and director Hanu Raghavapudi, while Spirit is likewise his first film with Vanga. Both directors are known for emotionally charged storytelling, though they operate in very different registers.
