This time, Dancing With The Stars has returned with an even bigger and more glamorous season. DWTS Season 35 is set to premiere across two nights on September 15 and September 16.
While Dancing With The Stars Season 35 Premiere Night 1 put the male celebrities in the spotlight, the second night will introduce the female stars as they take over the ballroom. The first episode aired on Tuesday (September 15) on ABC and Disney+, with the male contestants performing to a No. 1 song from the year they were born.
However, the opening night also faced an unexpected technical issue. A glitch on ABC’s website forced the network to suspend online voting, meaning only text votes were counted during DWTS 35 Premiere Night 1.

The first eviction of Dancing With The Stars Season 35 is officially over. Despite the technical glitch that disrupted online voting, Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that the premiere received twice as many votes as last season’s opening episode.
Following a combination of the judges’ scores and viewers’ text votes, the elimination process began. Hosts announced that Harry and Jenna were safe, followed by Taylor and Britt, Jackson and Emma, Ezra and Daniella, and Tyler and Sharna, who also advanced to the next round.
The bottom three couples were Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman, Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold, and Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson. In the end, Conner L. and Adele were eliminated, receiving the lowest overall number of votes.
