Drishyam 3 Advance Booking Collection Day 1 (Final): Ajay Devgn is back as Vijay Salgaonkar for the last time in his next and we can’t keep calm about it. We are talking about Drishyam 3 aka Drishyam The Conclusion which is the last installment of the Drishyam franchise. The movie brings back the story of Vijay Salgaonkar who is willing to go to any extent to protect his family. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the crime thriller also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Tabu, Prakash Raj, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutaa and Rajat Kapoor in the lead. Given the massive success of the franchise, Drishyam 3 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

To note, Drishyam 3 marks Ajay’s second project with Jaideep Ahlawat who plays the role of a cop in the movie. The two had earlier shared the screen in 2010 release Aakrosh and they have now reunited onscreen after 16 years. On the other hand, Drishyam 3 also marks Ajay’s reunion with Prakash Raj after 9 years. They have earlier shared the screen in Singham and Golmaal Again. Interestingly, while Drishyam and Drishyam 2 have been the official remake of Mohanlal starrers of the same name, the makers of Drishyam The Conclusion have confirmed that the third installment comes with a different plot and climax. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 has raked in Rs 28.11cr from advance booking for the opening day with a sale of 7.83 tickets. Interestingly, Drishyam 3 has recorded the highest presales for Ajay Devgn in his career so far along with the highest advance booking of the franchise.
Drishyam 3 Beats Chhaava Tickets Sold In National Chains
On the other hand, Drishyam 3 has managed to sell over 250K tickets in the national chains for day 1 and has managed to beat the tickets sold for Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava (221K) and Toxic (Hindi) (245K). As a result, Drishyam 3 has recorded the second highest tickets sale in National chains in 2025/2026 after Dhurandhar 2 which recorded 925K (including premieres)
Meanwhile, ever since the cast of Drishyam 3 was announced, there have been speculations about Jaideep replacing Akshaye Khanna in the franchise. To this Ahlawat stated, “No, not at all. When I heard the story, it wasn’t framed as if I was stepping into Akshaye Sir’s shoes or anything like that”.
